Purple Heart Homes Achieves North Carolina Licensure to Build Tiny Homes In-House

Last Updated 4/1/2026Posted in In The News

At Purple Heart Homes, we are committed to finding new and innovative ways to ensure that every Veteran has a safe place to call home. On August 26, 2025 that commitment reached an exciting milestone when our Production Team officially obtained a North Carolina license to build Tiny Homes in-house.

For years, Purple Heart Homes has worked with trusted partners to create Tiny Homes for Veterans, completing 21 homes to date. Each one represents independence, safety, and dignity for the men and women who once served our nation. With this new license, our team can now bring the entire process under one roof, which will improve efficiency, reduce costs, and allow for greater flexibility in making decisions and enhancements that best serve our Veterans.

This milestone reflects more than organizational growth; it represents meaningful progress toward our mission to honor those who served by providing housing solutions to qualified Veterans. The ability to build Tiny Homes directly supports our long-term vision to expand our impact, strengthen infrastructure, and continue meeting the increasing housing needs of Veterans across the country.

The first Tiny Home completed under our new Purple Heart Homes licensure was finished on September 19, 2025 marking the beginning of a new chapter in our production capabilities. Each home we build stands as a testament to compassion, teamwork, and excellence, the core values that guide every project we undertake.

As we look to the future, our team is excited by what this new license makes possible. Building in-house gives us the ability to move faster, serve smarter, and continue developing housing solutions that change lives.

To our Production Team, whose dedication and hard work made this achievement possible, thank you. And to our Veterans, who inspire everything we do, we remain steadfast in our promise: no Veteran left behind at home.

Join us in ensuring no Veteran is left behind at home.

Your support helps provide safe, dignified housing solutions for for service-connected disabled Veterans across the country.
