REEL Heroes is a volunteer-led Chapter of Purple Heart Homes, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving Veterans. Through a shared passion for the outdoors, especially kayak bass fishing, REEL Heroes raises awareness, builds community, and generates critical funding to support Veterans in need.
Each year, REEL Heroes hosts an annual Kayak Bass Fishing Tournament, bringing together anglers, sponsors, and supporters who believe in giving back to those who have served. Proceeds from these tournaments directly support Purple Heart Homes’ mission to improve housing conditions for service-connected disabled Veterans, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity.
