After returning home from Iraq, U.S. Army National Guard veteran Chris Williams faced battles that continued long after his military service ended. Struggling with PTSD and addiction, Chris found himself searching for a path forward. 
Through the support of Fifth Street Ministries' Veterans Transitional House and Purple Heart Homes, he found the stability, encouragement, and community he needed to rebuild his life. Today, Chris has come full circle, helping build homes for other veterans while continuing his own journey of healing and independence.
