Angela Carli

A proud disabled Army veteran, I have dedicated over 25 years to serving fellow veterans through my work with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (USDOL/VETS). My military career began as a Finance Specialist in the U.S. Army from 1996 to 1999, with assignments at Camp Casey, Korea, and Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Military service runs deep in my family — my father, sister, and brother are all disabled veterans as well.

In 2000, I began my civilian federal service with USDOL/VETS as a Veterans Program Specialist (VPS). In 2007, I was honored to be selected as the Director for Veterans’ Employment & Training (DVET) for the state of Tennessee, where I served until relocating with my family to Florida in 2012. Since then, I have continued my service as a VPS in the Tampa Bay area, providing critical support and advocacy for veterans transitioning to the civilian workforce.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Public Management from Columbia College and Austin Peay State University, along with an Associate degree in Criminal Justice. As a dedicated public servant and advocate, I remain passionate about ensuring our nation’s veterans receive the resources, opportunities, and respect they have earned.

Outside of work, I am a proud parent of five — four daughters and one son — and a grandparent to three wonderful grandchildren. My commitment to service, family, and community continues to drive everything I do.
