Kerry Lawing is the Vice President of Program Services of Purple Heart Homes, a Veteran operated 501c(3) that serves disabled Veterans with their housing needs. Kerry is a native North Carolinian and currently resides in Statesville. She studied Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and acquired certificates in Management and Leadership as well. She has acquired designation as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist through the National Association of Home Builders. She is currently enrolled in Liberty University Law School. Kerry is a member of the Energy United Foundation Board of Directors where she holds the office of President. Kerry is married with one daughter and two sons, one of which is proudly serving in the US Air Force. She is also Nana to two grandsons and a granddaughter.
