5th annual Take That Hill event to benefit Purple Heart Homes

The Take That Hill cycling challenge is back for its fifth year on Saturday, October 5, at Southern Distilling Company in Iredell County. Riders can pick from 35, 60, or 80-mile routes, all ending with a challenging 700-foot climb up Barrett Mountain. Proceeds from the event support Purple Heart Homes and their mission to provide safe, accessible housing for aging and disabled veterans. This year’s challenge will include a special guest speaker and Paralympian Patty Collins, along with a post-ride celebration featuring live music, food trucks, and fun activities for the whole family.
