RED Day 2025: Keller Williams Realty Mooresville Lends a Hand at Purple Heart Homes

On Thursday, May 8th, Purple Heart Homes (PHH) welcomed volunteers from Keller Williams Realty's Mooresville, North Carolina office for their annual RED Day (Renew, Energize, Donate). Each year on this date, Keller Williams Realty closes its offices worldwide so team members can give back to their local communities through hands-on volunteer work.

This year, the Mooresville team brought their energy and community spirit to PHH's headquarters in Statesville, North Carolina, making a visible impact on the grounds and facilities our staff calls home.

A Day of Hard Work

The Keller Williams Realty crew didn't waste a minute getting started. Over the course of the day, they:

• Spread 120 bags of mulch (two full pallets) across landscaped areas surrounding the PHH headquarters, freshening and beautifying the property.
• Used battery-operated sanders to re-sand and re-stain the support rails for our ADA-compliant wheelchair ramp, helping ensure both safety and appearance for those who rely on it daily.
• Pressure-washed the gazebo break area, restoring a welcoming space for staff, volunteers, and visitors.
• Sat down to help write thank-you cards to donors, adding a personal touch to PHH's ongoing appreciation for those who support our mission.
