Will Schiek grew up in an Army Family and decided at age 14 that he wanted to be an Airborne Ranger in the Army. Will retired after an incredibly rewarding career with 30 years of active commissioned service. During that time, he was assigned to several units in the United States and served overseas in Panama and Korea and two combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He commanded a company of paratroopers in the 82nd Airborne Division, a battalion in the 4th Infantry Division while deployed to Iraq and a Brigade at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Since retirement, Will has been working for a defense contractor providing medical, dental, and behavioral health services to the Soldiers of the Army National Guard and Army Reserves. He is a Soldier for life and is dedicated to helping those who volunteered to defend our country. Will continues to support veterans and their families as a member of the board of directors for Purple Heart Homes.
